Abstract

Mustansar Hussain Tarar stands as a preeminent travelogue writer in Urdu literature, having transformed the genre of travel writing. His travelogues of Pakistan's northern regions exhibit a distinctive style, capturing the beauty of nature in a remarkable manner. Tarar's works vividly depict mountains, rivers, forests, waterfalls, snowfields, towering peaks, and lakes, showcasing their splendor. His journeys encompass regions such as Deosai, Ratti Gali, Chitral, Hunza, Shimshal, and Fairy Meadows, among others.
