The belief of Khatam e Nabuwat in the light of Saying of Sahaba,Mujhtahideen, Ijmaa and its essentiality in current era

Abstract

Allah Almighty started the chain of prophethood from Hazrat Adam peace be upon him, and ended it with the last prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. The belief of the end of prophet hood is clearly proven from the Holy Quran as well as traditions of holy prophet  and  Ijmaa-e-Ummah. The Muslim Ummah since last fourteen hundred years continuously agrees on this point that the term of Khatam e Nabuwat as end of the prophet hood has been a unanimous belief of the Ummah. The belief of prophet hood is the basic and important belief of Islam, on which the whole edifice of Islam is built. Therefore, if there were not belief of the end of prophet hood in Islam then perhaps the Islamic commandments would not be safe with us till today. so the belief of Khatam e Nabuwat is the source of protection of Islam, therefore the infidels have always tried to undermine and amend this faith of islam since the beginning and are continuously doing so that there may be obstacles in the popularity and unity of the religion of Islam somehow so that the faith of those who believe in Isam should be amalgamated with confusions. for this purpose the chain of conspiracy of the false claim for Prophecy starts from Musailma Kazab: fake prophet  during the life of holy prophet and continue till the days of Mirza Ghulam Ahmed. While holy prophet PBUH has been declared as last messenger through not only holy Quran Majid but more than two hundred traditions of prophet as well as Ijmaa of Muslim ummah.  Therefore  to accept someone else as a prophet after the  last Prophet is equal to denying the claim of holy Quran as well as traditions and unity of Ummah. Therefor those who claim prophecy after Muhammad may Allah blesses him have been called liars or false prophet. In fact he was the last one of  the chain of Prophets therefore muslim ummah in each era exactly considered  Muhammad SA as a last messenger , and  all interpreters of holy Quran as well as traditions and philosophers of Islam in all-era became unanimous on that stance. This matter of islam became of unity of ummah.so this is the time of reasoning and It is to walk in the light of divine revelation with the help of reason, therefore dejection from majority(Jamhoor) is beyond the reasoning. So this faith has brought the whole Ummah to the path of unity. Moreover this is the belief that has not been suspicious but prominent scholars, saints and philosophers have clearly proven that the term Khatam-e-Nabuwat is unanimously meant as a last messenger of almighty God and there is no any prophet who claim after him as a reflective prophet (Zilli) or Shariah less prophet and other kind of new interpretation for prophet.
