A RESEARCH STUDY OF ILM-UL-FITAN BASIC DISCUSSIONS

الملخص

In the Qur'an and Hadith, the topics that are related to tribulations and Afflictions are called the knowledge of tribulations. The narrators of the hadiths store it under the name of Kitab al-Fitnan or Abwab-ul-Fitnan in their Books. It is a fact that the Prophet of Islam (SAW) has described in detail all the events leading up to the Day of Judgment as according and narrated by Husifa bin Alyaman (RA) in Sahih ul Bukhari. Another Hadith to the same companion of the Prophet (SAW) says that the Prophet mention him all the events of tribulations and Afflictions and he remember all that events, some other companions of the prophet(SAW) who are assemble there remember too while some others are loose  or ignore it.It’s a very important point that all events of tribulations and Afflictions are not discussed only in verses but also its Characteristics, features, importance, causes and preventions are also discussed in detail. The word Fitna is a comprehensive Arabic word which means literally to extract the gold from fire and pure it through the specific process of jeweler. This word can apply on fire, war, tribulation, affliction according to different verses. Therefore, in this article, I have write the importance, reasons, and factors of safety narrated in the knowledge of tribulation and Afflictions. This article consists of three chapters and sub-chapters, summary and recommendations and end note reference.
