HAZRAT FARID-U-DEEN GANJ SHAKAR: AS A TEACHER

Abstract

The present research work covers the different aspects of Hazrat Farid Ganj Shakar as a teacher, his role as an instructor was tremendous because his teaching learning strategies were suitable for all type of students of different areas. How easy and impressive techniques, he used during his teaching, all these need to be explored in present day. Though he was a great Sufi, writer and poet, got fame all around due to his humble and kind nature but as a teacher, he taught his students whatever he practised. The main objective of this research work is to remove the curtain on his teaching traits and ways of teaching furthermore, how the instructors of present age can get benefit from the ideas and lessons of Hazrat Farid Ganj Shakar. Many other questions about him will also be answered in the current research work. The methodology used in this paper is qualitative in nature, based upon explorative and descriptive techniques. Many primary and secondary sources are used in the conduction of this research e. g. Holy Quran, books of Tafaseer, autobiography and books. Hazrat Farid Ganj Shakar was a multidimensional personality, a fountain of knowledge, especially his teaching skills need to be brought into the limelight of twenty first century, present day teachers can also get a lot of guidance by his teaching styles and learning abilities.
